No, you did not just see a typo… we meant to write Seder with a Z for Zoom! Lovely stories continue happening in our great island. Lockdown did not stop us from gathering together in our Virtual Seder last Wednesday evening. Over 40 families from all over the island (and some abroad) shared an incredible Seder which included music by Aaron Sztarkman from El Salvador, reflections and discussions lead by Rabbi Ariel Abel from Liverpool and Dr. Evelyn Rotstein from New Jersey, many drawings of what freedom means to them by the children in our community, and the very same Ella who lead us in the 4 Questions actually found the afikomen that was “hiding” on Limud Mallorca’s website. As the winner, she was the one who decided to which charity our donations would go to. We invite you as well to donate to “Healing Through Hummus” a grassroots initiative started by two of our of community members Mike Hewitt and Ronen Levy of Simply Delicious restaurant here in Palma.
